By using noc2pa.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site does

The Site provides a browser-based utility that converts PNG and WebP images to JPG locally on your device. As a side effect of re-encoding, embedded metadata (including C2PA / Content Credentials data, EXIF, and other ancillary fields) is typically dropped. The Site also publishes informational pages about C2PA and image metadata, and offers a lightweight C2PA metadata checker.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the conversion process removes every form of metadata in every situation, that the C2PA Checker detects every C2PA marker, or that the Site is error-free. You are responsible for verifying the output if a guaranteed result matters to you. The official Content Credentials Verify tool (contentcredentials.org/verify) is the authoritative way to check for C2PA Content Credentials.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not use this tool to misrepresent the origin, authorship, or edit history of media; to remove legally or contractually required disclosures; to impersonate a creator; to conceal evidence; or to evade platform rules.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, noc2pa.com and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, including loss of data, loss of provenance information, or any consequences of metadata removal you perform with the Site.

Third-party links and services

The Site links to and integrates with third-party services (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense, Funding Choices, Bootstrap CDN, contentcredentials.org). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services; their respective terms apply.

Intellectual property

The Site's content (text, layout, code) is owned by the operator unless otherwise noted. "C2PA" and "Content Credentials" are referenced as descriptive industry terms; they are the property of their respective owners (the C2PA / Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity).

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
