Summary

noc2pa.com is a single-page browser tool for converting PNG and WebP images to JPG. Image conversion happens entirely in your browser. The image you select is not uploaded to our server. The rest of this policy explains the third-party services that do receive normal browsing data when you visit, and how to control them.

How the tool handles your image

• Your image is read by your browser using the FileReader API and re-encoded on a <canvas> element. The output is a JPG produced locally in your browser.
• The image content does not leave your device. We have no copy of it, no hash, and no derived data on our servers.
• The conversion process incidentally drops embedded image metadata (including any C2PA / Content Credentials data) because the new JPG is generated from raw pixel data, not from the original file's container.

What our server logs

Our hosting provider logs standard request data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, referrer) for security and uptime purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for advertising profiles.

Third-party services we use

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-66ZPP7SNNN) to understand aggregate traffic and feature usage (for example, how many people use the conversion tool versus the explainer pages). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect device, browser, and approximate location information. See Google's privacy policy.

Microsoft Clarity (session replay)

We use Microsoft Clarity (project kxpdba733e) for session replay and heatmaps. Clarity records mouse movement, clicks, scroll, and the structure of the page you interact with. Clarity is configured with strict input masking, and the upload tool area on the homepage is additionally tagged with data-clarity-mask so the image preview is never recorded. Google AdSense

We may serve advertisements through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2153553912565345). AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. See Google's advertising privacy information. Where applicable, you can manage Google's use of advertising cookies via the Ads Settings page.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Visitors from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent management banner (Funding Choices) on first visit. Until you make a choice, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and AdSense do not load. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer.

Cookies

This site sets a session cookie (PHPSESSID) that is required for the contact form's CSRF protection and rate limiting. This cookie does not contain personal information and is removed when you close your browser. Third-party cookies set by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and AdSense are subject to those vendors' policies and your consent choices.

Children's privacy

noc2pa.com is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
